The Nowata Ironmen started their 2015 season with a win over Vian 6-0 at Nowata Ironmen Memorial Stadium.  It was a defensive battle for both teams as the only touchdown came with 30 seconds left in the game when Junior Quarterback Cody Smith found Wyatt Sanders on a 30-yard touchdown pass. 

Nowata's defensive came up huge, forcing two Wolverine turnovers in the 4th quarter.  Junior tailback Tarell Collins rushed 20 times for 156 yards.

Nowata improves to 1-0 and will host the Dewey Bulldoggers Friday, September 4th starting at 7:30.  You can hear the game on KRIG 104.9 FM.
