A $750,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly was involved in a kidnapping of a woman back in July of this year.  47-year old Anthony Paul Ornder is charged with kidnapping, two counts of possession of a weapon, and possession of methamphetamine.  Bartlesville police were called to Quality Inn located in the 200 block of South Washington Blvd. to investigate a possible kidnapping.

According to a court affidavit, a woman told the police she went into a maroon van with two other people and drove to the Heritage Villa Nursing Home parking lot to get some money.  Reportedly, Ornder got into the van, threaten to kill the woman with a gun, and struck her in the face.  The woman told Ordner she had money at the Quality Inn.  When the van arrived at the motel, the woman was able to escape to the motel and asked the staff to call the police.  Two other people who were reportedly involved in the kidnapping were taken into custody, Jacob Anthony Sanchez and Jessica Lynn Chapman.

Ordner's next court date is September 2nd.
