A Ramona man who is accused of attacking a 17-year boy in September of 2015 was scheduled to be sentenced Thursday afternoon, but it has been delayed.  The sentencing hearing is now scheduled for September 9th.  Charlie Chester Morrison The Second is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction, threatening to perform an act of violence, and pointing a firearm.  Morrison waived a jury trial and pled guilty.  Prosecutors are recommending Morrison to serve 20 years in prison.

Washington County Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate a report of someone pointing a firearm on West 3900 Road, just west of U.S. Highway 75.  According to a court affidavit, the victim told the deputies that Morrison jerked him out of the truck and began punching and kicking him, and pistol-whipped him.  The teen reportedly told the authorities that Morrison pointed a loaded pistol at him and threatened to kill him.
