Bartlesville Radio: The area’s best source for news, weather and sports!

The City of Bartlesville began its strategic plan project last month and after meetings were held and a survey sent out to gain public input, a vision for the City has began to develop. A workshop was also held in late April between the consulting company in charge of the plan and leaders in the Bartlesville community. City Manager Mike Bailey talks about those meetings:

“I can't say we were surprised to learn that residents love many things about Bartlesville. The friendliness of the people, the small town feel with big city ammenities, City Park and Pathfinder Parkway. But it really helped clarify the degree to which some of these things, such as the Pathfinder trail system, are considered a very high priority to a large percentage of our respondents.”

There will be another session at the end of May in which the two parties hope to finalize the plan moving forward. They hope to allow for the council to take action on the plan in July.
