Nowata Football Returns for Morrison

Nowata football is looking to get back in the win column on Friday night, after falling to Quapaw last week on the road.
The Ironmen dropped the district contest to the Wildcats, 50-34.
Against an offense that was pass heavy, head coach Chance Juby talked about the struggles with his secondary last week.
This week, the attention shifts to Morrison. Also the Wildcats, Morrison is 1-1 in district play with a shutout win over Oklahoma Union and a loss to Pawnee. Morrison is 2-3 overall.
Nowata is still trying to bounce back from a few injuries as well, the Ironmen were without quarterback Adrian O'Dell and some key pieces on the offensive and defensive lines. O'Dell is expected to play against Morrison on Friday.
Juby talked about some new faces getting better with additional reps.
The Ironmen kick things off at home for Morrison at 7 p.m. Coverage can be heard on 104.9 KRIG and KRIGTV.com, starting around 6:30 p.m.
