A Bartlesville school bus was hit by a foreign object Friday afternoon. The route 16 bus was traveling from Central Middle School to Bartlesville High School at about 3:15 when it was struck by a foreign object on Shawnee Ave.  The object struck a window and did cause the window to break. 

According to Community Relations Director for Bartlesville Schools, Chris Tanea, the bus driver continued to the high school after the incident, at which point all students were taken off the bus and put on a new bus.

No injuries have been reported and the Bartlesville Police Department is investigating.  Preliminary reports point to the object possibly being a rock or BB.
