The organization, The Springs Events, is taking their time proven method and creating a new event center on the shores of Skiatook Lake. The new event center called Skiatook Springs will create a destination location with rustic elegance. Skiatook Springs will be the companies 17th event center but only the second in Oklahoma, their first is located in Edmond.

 

The Event Center, which is being built in association with CrossTimbers Development, hopes to provide not only an scenic location for weddings but also host cooperate events, school events, private events and more.

 

CrossTimbers Owner Ron Howell is excited about the new event center and the impact the new facility will have on the community. In the press release for the event center Howell highlighted the $2,000,000 in property taxes CrossTimbers' Resort has added to schools and government services in Osage County over the past 10 years.

 

The location will boast a 10,000 sq ft facility with a 6,000 sq ft great room. The event center also provides bridal and groom suites as well as a full size warming and prep kitchen. The great room can comfortably host more than 300 guests. The development will also offer on location cabin and cottage rental, and the marina offers boat rentals for lake activities.

 

The event center is scheduled to open on 1 July 2015 and has already begun taking reservations for the summer.
