The Osage County Board of County Commissioners met Monday, March 30, for a brief meeting during which most was standard procedure.

Osage County local Eddy Lee once again procured several tax properties from the county. Two tax lots in Pawhuska and four in Hominy. Lee has procured several other properties throughout the county over the past few months.

The commissioners awarded the lawn service bid for seasonal work at the Osage County County Courthouse and Treasurer's Office in Pawhuska to Cole's Lawn Mowing Service in the amount of $125.00 per mowing.

The commissioners also came to a decision regarding the earthquake damage insurance claim. After the insurance deductible the County will be receiving just over $10,000, however the funds will not be sufficient to begin repairs to the Courthouse without dedicating substantial additional funds towards remodel and repair.

The next scheduled meeting of the Board of County Commissioners is Monday April 6.
