Three suspects, 22-year-old Alejandro Garcia, 23-year-old Cesar Rios and 20-year-old Roxanne Mendoza are in the Montgomery County, Kansas Jail, facing various charges related to a police pursuit and officer shooting. Oologah police officer Charles Neill was shot in the head by one of the suspects during the pursuit and flipped his vehicle. The suspects abandoned the original vehicle and Rios and Mendoza were captured shortly afterward.

Garcia escaped on foot and hijacked a red truck driven by David Henderson, who was later shot in the neck. Garcia abandoned the truck near the Highway 169 Liberty, Kansas exit. Police set up a perimeter around the home they believed Garcia to be hiding in. Upon the arrival of numerous agencies with tactical equipment, the residence was entered and Garcia was captured just after 7 A.M. Friday morning.

Officer Neill is reported in serious but stable condition. The condition of the driver of the hi-jacked vehicle is unknown.
