Another PBU For Parker in Lions' Loss

Another week, another start, and another great outing by former Bartlesville High Bruin football start and  defensive back AJ Parker with the Detroit Lions.

The Lions would end up losing against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, 20-16.

Parker played on 24 of the defensive snaps, which was good for 52-percent of the defensive plays for the Lions.

Parker had one tackle, one assist, and a big pass breakup on third down early in the game.

Parker now has six passes defended and one interception on the year. According to Lions Public Relations, this is only the second time-ever an undrafted rookie free agent defensive back has topped the five passes defended mark in his first season with Detroit.

Also a cool note from Sunday's game, former Bartlesville High head football coach John McKee was able to watch Parker in-person. McKee and his family now lives in the Atlanta area.
