BHS Softball Into Scrimmages
Fall sports are drawing closer, as Bartlesville High has a full week of scrimmages for softball and volleyball.
Both those sports will begin their seasons next week. Softball was on the road at Kellyville for a scrimmage yesterday. The volleyball team will travel to Ponca City today then to Jenks tomorrow for some preseason action.
On the softball side, Bartlesville will be a much younger team than the past couple of years. BHS will have only two seniors and four juniors on this year’s squad. Head coach Kyle Minton also says the Lady Bruins are in the middle of a stylistic change from year’s past.
Minton says he wants his club to use its speed.
Softball will host Sperry on Thursday, travel to a scrimmage at Claremore on Friday, then will have a festival type of event against Union and Owasso on Tuesday.
