BHS Track and Field Competes in Tulsa

The Bartlesville Bruin Track and Field team competed at a meet at Tulsa Union High School on Friday and the girls walked away with a fourh place finish, while the boys placed sixth. 

For the girls, Campbell Barta placed second in the 200 meter dash and Kadance Barnett placed fourth. Barta also finished third in the 400 meter run. Gentry Turney placed fourth in the 800 and 1,600 meter run. 

Emilee Hancock placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles and the girls finished fourth in the 4x200 meter relay. They did the same in the 4x400 meter relay. 

Ragen Hodge placed first in the high jump and Quincey Turner placed first in pole vault. Ledi Mull and Maggie Jacksonhubbs placed fifth and sixth repectively in that event. Barnett finished fourth in the long jump and Jaiden Stevenson took third in shot put. Alexis Burton was fourth in the discus throw.

Om the boys side, Noah Darnell took fifth in the 400 meter run. Athan Nickles placed fifth in the 110 meter hurdles and the Bruins took fifth in the 4x400 meter relay. Bartlesville placed fourth in the 4x800 meter relay. 

Jack Wahl won the high jump event and Nick Smith placed sixth. Kade Bostwick finished third in the pole vault.
