Bruin Soccer in Playoffs on Tuesday

Bartlesville High boys’ soccer is back in the playoffs.

BHS heads down to Tulsa to take on Union.

The Bruin boys went 9-5 and finished up District play at 5-2 in a tie for third place. The Bruins' 2022 season has been marked by close games.

Seven of the Bruins 14 games this season were decided by one goal or in overtime. Bartlesville won four matches in a row to propel themselves into the postseason: An overtime win over Booker T., a one-goal victory against Tahlequah, another one-goal win against Owasso and a blowout victory against Muskogee.

First year head coach Brandon Willis says it is nice to have a team that is able to battle back.

Bartlesville faced Union one other time this season - The Redhawks beat BHS 2-0 at Custer Stadium onMarch 22, which was the final non-District game for the Bruins.

An 8:00 PM kick on Tuesday night from south Tulsa.
