Bartlesville High Baseball had a successful outing on the diamond on Friday in what will likely be the final time the Bruin seniors will play at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. The Bruins got a 4-2 win over Tahlequah in the afternoon and defeated Claremore 6-3 in the nightcap.

Zeb Henry pitched a complete game against Tahlequah, walking one and striking out eight. The Bruins tallied 13 hits on the afternoon, but leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth it was this double from Nik Johnson that gave Bartlesville a much needed insurance run.

Game two of the twin bill was tight down the stretch, but with the game tied at three apiece in the bottom of the sixth inning, Bradee Rigdon tripled and this two out hit scored Rigdon.

The Bruins led 6-3 going into the top of the seventh after Johnson and Brenden Asher also scored runs. Shawn Tate pitched two and a third scoreless innings in relief of Carson Leach.

Bartlesville finishes the regular season at 24-12 and will find out their Regional assignment this weekend.
