Bruins Host Two on Friday
Bartlesville High baseball will hopefully get a chance to play its final two games of the regular season on Tuesday afternoon.
BHS was slated to play at Tahlequah on Thursday, but rains south of Tulsa forced another postponement.
Now the Bruins will host Tahlequah on the turf at Rigdon Field in an effort to get in that final District contest. Tigers and Bruins scheduled for a 2:00 PM first pitch from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
Meanwhile Bartlesville will still face Claremore for its senior night contest, with the festivities in between games. The Zebras and Bruins will hook up at 5:30 PM at Doenges. The senior night announcements will take place about 4:15.
BHS is 22-12 on the year, 8-5 in District play following a loss to Bixby on Tuesday. We will have both of today’s games on the radio.
The 2:00 Tahlequah game on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM. Claremore at 5:30 will air on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. You can watch both on KWONTV.com.
