Castillo Gets Invited to Lillard Camp
Another highlight for current Bartlesville High basketball standout David Castillo came in earlier this week.
Castillo was invited to Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard’s basketball camp called Formula Zer0. Castillo was one of only 20 high school players invited.
In a statement Lillard said “I want to make an impact. To build a community of people who do things differently. Who follow a formula. Who don’t skip steps, whose confidence is real, who look out for each other and who don’t take no for an answer.”
Castillo will be a junior at Bartlesville High this fall. He has already taken in numerous national honors, including his second World Cup Gold Medal earlier this summer with Team USA.
