City Golf Championship This Weekend
Just a few more days until one of the city’s most anticipated weekends in golf.
The City Golf Championship is coming up on Saturday and Sunday, and again the event will be split between Adam’s Golf Club and Hillcrest Country Club.
The Jim Curd Sr. City Golf Championship has been a tradition for more than 30-years in Bartlesville and again is being sponsored by Dinks Pitt BBQ.
Jim Curd talks with us about what the tournament means to his family and the community.
This year the opening round on Saturday will be at Adam’s, with the finale on Sunday finishing up at Hillcrest Country Club.
Last year Jordan Boerio won his first city title since 2015. He and former Rogers State golfer Preston Bartley tied after 36 holes and Boerio won after the third hole of the playoff.
Both came back after Landon Curd had the lead after Saturday.
