Indians End Enid Weekend Trip With A Win

The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians ended their three-day Enid weekend trip with a victory Sunday afternoon at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in downtown Enid.  The Indians ended their four game loosing streak with a 9-4 victory over the Enid Majors.  

Bartlesville scored three runs in the third inning, three runs in the fourth inning, and three more runs in the top of the sixth inning to pick up their 15th win of the season.  Josiah Gott went the distance and picked up the win on the mound, improving his record to 2-0.  In five innings of work, Gott gave up four runs on five hits, walked two, and struck out one.  At the plate, Trevor Doyle and Gott each had two hits, while Bryce Short got a double.  

The Indians are now 15-9 overall this season and will have some time off before they begin play in the Winget Tournament.  The Indians will take on Springfield Hillcrest on Friday night at 7 o'clock.
