The Doenges Ford Indians had a nice weekend in Mountain Home, Arkansas, as the Tribe returns to Bartlesville with a 2-1 record at the Twin Lakes Classic Tournament.

A tiebreaker kept the Indians out of the semifinals on Sunday.

Bartlesville wrapped up the event with a winning record thanks to a marathon victory on Saturday. A 3 hour 45 minute 12 inning affair ended in an Indians 11-6 win over Eureka, Missouri.

Eureka tied the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh, and in the top of the 12th the game was still tied at 6-6. That’s when Bartlesville broke it open. The Indians exploded for five runs on four hits.

The big hit finally came from Caney Valley Trojan Hayden Fiddler with two in scoring position.

Bartlesville would then tack on three more runs with hits from Karson Lee, Evan McClendon and Daniel Barham

This triple from Lee helped the cause.

Bartlesville had a great relief outing from Barham. The future CCC Red Raven threw five scoreless innings. He struck out seven and walked three.

The Indians return with a 14-6-1 record.

Another busy week, as Bartlesville will play a double-header in Claremore in Oklahoma Collegiate League play on Tuesday (4:00 PM and 8:30 PM) before Three Rivers visits for a twin bill on Wednesday (6:00 PM and 8:00 PM)
