The Doenges Ford Indians have had a fantastic first two days in Branson, as the Tribe won again on Friday afternoon over Forsyth.

The Indians have improved to 3-0 in the College of the Ozarks Showcase.

The Indians topped Forsyth 8-5. Bartlesville jumped out to a 5-1 lead after four innings then held on for the win.

Hayden Catlin  was solid in the start on the mound. He gave up one unearned run in five innings. Bartlesville nearly faltered down the stretch, but survived four errors and four runs surrendered in the final two innings.

Leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, these back to back hits from Harrison Clark and Daniel Barham in the span of a few seconds helped Bartlesville extend its lead.

Barham and Clark accounted for five of the Indians' 11 hits on the afternoon.

The Tribe improves to 9-4-1 on the season and has won six of its last eight.

Bartlesville plays two more games on Saturday to wrap up play in southern Missouri. The Indians face Hollister at 12:15 PM and then Kickapoo at 4:45 PM.

Both games will air on radio only - KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1 FM.
