Kaminska to Transfer
A former Caney Valley Bullpup baseball star at the Division I level is switching colleges.
Jace Kaminska, who earned regional fame after his stellar junior year as Bullpup has reportedly entered the transfer portal. Kaminska was a two-year starting pitcher at Wichita State. After a stellar freshman season where he earned American Athletic Conference honors, Kamiska stayed in the starting rotation, but his numbers fell a bit.
As a sophomore in Wichita he went 3-9 with a 5.49 ERA. Kaminska was 8-1 with a 2.32 ERA as a true freshman.
The Shockers struggled as a whole, finishing at 21-36 overall.
Kaminska will likely be a sought-after arm in the transfer portal looking for a bounce back junior season.
