Let’s take a look back at the 2022 Doenges Ford Indians, as Bartlesville’s summer baseball team provided about seven weeks of fun this year. The Tribe went 24-14-1 this summer.

The 24 wins are the second-most in the past decade for the Indians.

Bartlesville was able to go 5-0 during a weekend in Branson. The Indians also qualified for the semifinals during the Ft. Smith, Arkansas tournament and the Tribe made the Glen Winget Tournament semis, as well.

A 7-2-1 record in the Oklahoma Collegiate League gave Bartlesville a bye into the semis of the OCL state-tournament.

As far as individuals go, Oklahoma Wesleyan JV star Evan McClendon lead the way. The Texas-native started out hot and never really cooled down. McClendon hit .343 with six extra-base-hits and 24 runs scored.

Daniel Barham excelled at the plate and on the mound. The future Red Raven and former Caney Valley Trojan hit .318 with seven extra-base-hits. He also tossed 29 innings with 29 strikeouts with a 3.37 ERA.

On the mound, former Bartlesville Bruins Bradee Rigdon and Jakob Hall both stood out. Rigdon threw 18 innings before giving up a run. Hall allowed only seven hits and one earned run over 14 frames, while striking out 24.
