OKWU Soccer Brings High Expectations into New Season

Fall sports are quickly approaching and Oklahoma Wesleyan is hopeful for yet another quality season. The Eagles return five starters from a squad that went to the NAIA quarterfinals last season. OKWU has been a powerhouse program on the men’s side for the past ten 10 seasons. OKWU head coach Jamie Peterson is hoping for more success in 2022.

The Eagles will also have a healthy Stefan Cvetanovic on this year’s roster. Cvetanovic scored an astounding 33 goals in 12 games last year before an injury derailed his national player of the year campaign.

OKWU will start up in its preseason phase over the next few weeks before opening up the regular season in early September.
