Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles were in action Thursday afternoon taking on Evangel, MO. It was the first games for the Lady Eagles since last week's trip to Tuscun Invitational.  Evangel won the first game 13-10, but OKWU took game two 4-2.

In the first game, Evangel scored 10 of their 13 runs in the top of the first despite OKWU trying to make a comeback.  OKWU's Hannah Sharum went 2 for 5 with 4 RBI's and Selena Lopez went 2 for 4. Courtney Gililland, Mayan Meza Tovar, Katelyn Cook, Dakota Bottoms, and Heather Jones each got a hit.

The Lady Eagles took advantage of Evangel's seven errors to take game two.  OKWU scored two of their four runs in the bottom of the second to win their 12th game of the season.  Hannah Starum, Courtney Gililland, Mirah Shepherd, and Heather Jones each got a hit.

The Lady Eagles are now 12-13 overall this season.  Next up for OKWU will be on Friday as they will take on York College and College of St. Mary in the MCAC Crossover Tournament.
