Washington County Commissioners had a fairly short meeting Monday morning where they handled a couple of items of business.

The commissioners accepted a $3,500 donation from the Cherokee Nation that will go to the Washington County Volunteer Fire Department. They also approved a contract between the Washington County Assessor’s Office and Total Assessment Solution Corporation (TASC).

Assessor Todd Mathes says the agreement with TASC helps anytime there is an issue with oil and gas production in the county.

The commissioner’s meeting next week will be moved to Tuesday because of the Memorial Day holiday. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Washington County Administration Building in downtown Bartlesville.
