Bartlesville Man Breaks into Home to Sleep on Couch

A Bartlesville man was arrested over the weekend after he was discovered in somebody else’s home. Alan Ssali was seen in Washington County Court on Monday on the charge of breaking and entering with unlawful intent. According to an affidavit, Ssali allegedly walked into a house in the middle of the night and slept on the couch.

The residents at the home told officers that they heard commotion in the middle of the night, and they got up to check the house early in the morning and found Ssali on their couch. They also told officers that they did not know Ssali and he was not supposed to be in the house.

While being arrested, Ssali told officers that he was drunk and looking for a place to sleep and the victims house just happened to be unlocked. His bond was set at $25,000 and his next court date is scheduled for today at 1:30 pm.
