The Caney Valley Trojans are getting set for a district matchup with the Nowata Ironmen on Friday night for a week four matchup in district play. For those who may not remember, this game was called off shortly before its scheduled kick off time due to no referees being available for the game, and Nowata was subsequently given a forfeit win.

Head Coach Stephen Mitchell for the Trojans says that last year’s situation adds a little bit to this game on Friday.

For the Trojans, they are still searching for their first win of the season after dropping last Friday’s match up to Chelsea, 52-15. Mitchell says that there will be a couple of different things that the Trojans will have to do to come out with a W on Friday.
