BHS Senior Named National Merit Semi-Finalist

Bartlesville High School senior Lauren Lee has been named a National Merit Scholar Semi-finalist.
 
Lauren, the daughter of Allison and David Lee, is Student Body President, National Honor Society President and serves on the Superintendent Advisory Council. In addition, she is an active member of the World Language club.
 
Lauren dedicates her spare time to volunteering and tutoring younger students. She also enjoys pursuing hobbies such as baking, reading, and mastering the piano and violin. Lauren intends to major in either biology or finance.

Approximately 16,000 students were selected nationwide in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million that will be offered next spring.
