District One Commissioner for Osage County, Everett Piper spoke on Monday about how the Board could take the $ 9.3 million that is dedicated to the annex project and invest that into U.S. Treasury Bills and make money while construction is being completed.

Piper said he can't give an exact dollar amount as to how much that would draw in, but gives a rough estimate of $400,000.

Jeff Raley, who has been advising the Board throughout this process, recommended buying continuous 60 day notes to help pay for the project.
