City of Bartlesville Street Department workers were named this month’s Employee of the Month. Tim Orsburn and Matt Hughes nominated each other after assisting a woman back in January. Employee Advisory Committee President Kayle Amador talks about that moment.

“They were both cleaning catch basins on the east side of town when they saw an elderly woman with a trunk full of groceries and decided to help her carry them inside.”

Orsburn and Hughes will receive eight hours of special vacation time, $25 in chamber bucks and a gift card to a restaurant.
