Blood donations are needed as we head into the summer months. If interested in helping donate, there will be a local blood drive on Thursday in Skiatook where you can do just that. Walk-ins will be welcome at the First Baptist Church of Skiatook. A photo ID is required.

Thursday's blood drive will last from noon to 5 p.m. If interested in making an appointment ahead of time, call 877-340-8777 or visit obi.org. Donors will get a T-shirt and a choice of tickets to either Frontier City or Hurricane Harbor in Oklahoma City.
