Bartlesville Man Booked on Distribution of Substances Charge
A warrant was issued earlier this month for a Bartlesville man who is being charged with the distribution of a controlled substance. Tracy Reel was located and booked into the Washington County Jail on Thursday evening and seen in front of a judge on Friday afternoon.
A probable cause affidavit states that officers observed a confidential informant complete a controlled buy of narcotics from Reel's residence in February. The informant exchanged the provided drug funds for a white crystalline provided by Reel.
The informant was able to present that substance to officers in a small and clear zip-lock style baggie. The white crystalline substance weighed 2.4 grams, including the baggie weight, and tested positive for methamphetamine.
More zip-lock baggies were found in Reel's bedroom when conducting a search warrant. A digital scale, two glass smoking pipes with burnt residue and surveillance equipment was also located in the defendant's bedroom.
Reel saw his bond set at $25,000 and he is next due in court at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 19th.
