The Osage County Free Fair is quickly approaching. The event will run from Tuesday, September 17^th through Saturday, September 21^st. In addition to Thursday and Friday's school day at the fair and carnival rides being open throughout the day, a roping event will take place on that Friday night.

Saturday is family day at the fair, featuring free carnival rides, a dog show, livestock show, car show and BBQ cook-off. Osage County Emergency Manager Jerry Roberts comments on what makes the fair so special.

Saturday evening will end with a ranch rodeo and free concert by Thomas Martinez.
