OHP: Dewey Woman Killed in a Crash

A Dewey woman was killed in a collision Tuesday morning.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the incident occurred at approximately 3:32 a.m. on US-75 at W 2400 Road, northbound, two miles south of Bartlesville.
According to the OHP report, a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Paula Zimmer, 53, of Dewey, was traveling eastbound on W 2400 Road. A 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Brian Werts, 57, of Bartlesville was traveling southbound US-75. Zimmer failed to stop at the stop sign.
Wertz struck Zimmer's vehicle in the driver’s side door. Zimmer's vehicle rolled ¼ time, departed the roadway right and struck a light pole. Zimmer was ejected approximately 40 feet from point of impact.
Zimmer was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival due to injuries sustained in the collision. Werts refused treatment on scene.
