A Caney, KS woman who has a pending civil lawsuit against the City of Bartlesville and two Bartlesville police officers, made a plea deal with the Washington County District Attorney's Office.

54-year-old Misty Armitage, was charged in April of 2024 with eluding a police officer and obstructing an officer, after she was pulled over for speeding towards the hospital with a bleeding grandchild in the backseat. Video evidence showed two police officers wrestling Armitage out of the vehicle.

The Washington County District Attorney's Office dismissed the obstruction charge and amended the eluding charge to reckless driving.

Armitage's deal includes a one-year deferred sentence with supervised probation by the Washington County District Attorney's Office.

Armitage is a co-plaintiff in a pending civil lawsuit with Glenda Martin claiming officers Reed Blackard and Levi Johnson falsely arrested and assaulted them.
