Osage Nation Taking Part in Mullendore Auction

A major cattle auction will be taking place at the Mullendore Cross Bell Ranch on Wednesday. This is the annual Bluestem Special Cattle Auction in which 25,000 head of cattle, including close to 550 fall calves coming from the Osage Nation Ranch, which is part of the Osage LLC portfolio will be sold.
A press release states food will be served at 4:30 p.m. with ribeye steak sandwiches and the auction will start at 5 p.m. Bids can be made in person or online at DVAuction.com. If participating online, registration must be completed ahead of time. This is the third year in a row the Osage Nation Ranch has taken part in the summer sale. Here is what CEO of Osage LLC, Russell Goff had to say on taking part in the auction:
"The Osage Nation Ranch and our cattle business remain a core part of our economic development strategy. We sell cattle twice a year and that revenue is returned to the Osage Nation for critical services like health care, housing and education."
