It was one of the most entertaining games of the season on Friday night in Dewey, as the Bulldoggers won a thrilling football game against Tulsa Central, 19-14.

What started out as a defensive showing from both teams quickly turned into a shootout. This Jayden Vallen touchdown run got Dewey on the board first.

Dewey led 7-0 at halftime.

Dewey found the endzone again to take a 13-0 lead through three quarters. It was in the fourth where things got interesting.

Tulsa Central found the endzone on a 21-yard rush by Jamal Palmer to get back in the game, followed by another rushing touchdown by Demarius Jordan put the Braves in front with 1:44 left in the game.

Dewey took the lead back for good on the kick return.

The win puts Dewey at 4-5 overall and 3-3 in district play. With the win, they stay alive in the playoff race, but they'll need some help to make the jump.

The Bulldoggers host Chandler next Friday night for the regular season finale. Kickoff at 7 p.m.
