The Town of Copan says it is still experiencing problems with its gas system, and crews are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Officials are asking residents to lower their thermostats to help conserve gas and ensure service remains available for everyone. Those still without gas can go to the local school, which has opened as a warming center.

Anyone who has lost gas service and needs transportation to the school is encouraged to call 539-231-2411 for assistance. Town officials urge residents to stay safe and warm.
