The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect connected to an apparent road rage shooting investigation in the southwestern part of the county near Cleveland.

According to a press release from the Osage County Sheriff's Office, the victim was a DoorDash driver who had recently completed a delivery near the town of Osage. The incident occurred by New Prue Road. It is believed the victim was driving westbound on 209th West Ave. when an altercation occurred between him and another motorist. The victim pulled his vehicle over to the side of the road and the press release states the suspect fired a single round through the victim's rear window. The victim sustained minor injuries from broken glass, but wasn't struck by gunfire.

Authorities said the suspect is believed to be driving a newer-model Jeep Gladiator with an Oklahoma license plate of an unknown number. Deputies also said the vehicle had a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror and was being driven by a white male.

Investigators say the case remains active and they are asking anyone with information, surveillance footage, or dash camera video related to the incident to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Osage County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 918-287-3131.
