Bartlesville Dominates on Day Two in Arkansas

The Doenges Ford Indians rebounded nicely on Friday to beat North Central 10-2 on the second day of the Twin Lakes Classic in Mountain Home, Arkansas. A good start and a good finish propelled Bartlesville to the victory as it scored four runs in the first inning and the sixth inning.

Matthew Winters, the lefty from Glenpool threw a complete game with eight strikeouts to earn his fifth win of the summer already. Winters gave up only three hits over six innings in one of the best pitching performances of the summer.

The Indians capitalized on many North Central mistakes. Six of the ten runs scored were unearned. Bartlesville also took several extra bases to keep the pressure on. Brendan Asher had a base hit in the big first inning that plated a run…9921I

Haden Fiddler was productive at the plate with two hits and two RBI. Karson Lee also had a multiple hit game.
