Bartlesville Hoops Travel to Stillwater

Bartlesville High boys’ and girls’ basketball is right back after it again on Friday, as both BHS clubs are amid their busiest weeks of the year.

BHS heads to Stillwater tonight for a District double-header. Both teams are riding a win streak after a sweep over Capitol Hill this past Tuesday.

The Bruin guys are riding their first three-game win streak in four seasons. BHS has a couple of those wins against struggling programs, but head coach Jake Christenson says he was impressed with how the Bruins handled their business against teams they were supposed to beat.

In each of the blowout wins over Rogers and Capitol Hill Bartlesville made more than 10 threes and scored 59 and 60 points in the first half respectively.

Stillwater tonight will be a challenge for both teams. Tonight’s games will likely help determine District positioning, as both the girls and guys are close in the standings.

Christenson talks about the game for the Bruin guys on Friday.

A 6:00 tip for the girls and 7:30 for the guys, so start times are 30 minutes earlier than usual.

We will have both games on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.
