Bartlesville High School football is headed to Bixby for a 7-on-7 tournament.

The Bruins have been busy since spring camps got started last month, and have shifted to focus to summer pride. While the Bruins look to get better off the field in the weight room, they are continuing to work on themselves on the field with 7-on-7 passing league action.

The Bruins are paired with Edmond Deer Creek, Broken Arrow, Sand Springs, Norman North and Bixby in pool play of the tournament. With lots of big name schools going against Bartlesville, head coach Matt Hennesy says he wants to see his team compete the right way.

Bartlesville opens the tournament against Edmond Deer Creek. The Bruins have competed in two passing league events leading into Friday's competition in Bixby.
