BHS Softball Wins Game One

Bartlesville softball and volleyball both started off their seasons with wins on Monday night. 

BHS softball beat Pawhuska, 8-4 to open the year.

It was a new Lady Bruin that made the biggest impact at the plate in game one. Former Dewey Bulldogger London Bond, who transferred to Bartlesville for her final year, went 3-5 with five RBIs and three runs.

BHS got off to a 6-1 start over the first two innings and cruised over the final five.

Erin Bridendolph went 2-4, while Allison Rosson got the win in the circle. She went seven innings, gave up four hits and four runs with seven strikeouts and no walks.

BHS softball begins action in Pryor Festival on Tuesday.
