BHS Volleyball Begins Practice

Monday was the opening day of practice in Oklahoma for softball and volleyball, let’s look at Bartlesville High volleyball, as BHS had its first practice on Monday.

Andrew Blain takes over the program, as former skipper Jennifer Ward stepped aside this past offseason. Blain was a multi-year assistant with Bartlesville.

Blain says that the Bruins mostly took it light over the offseason.

A couple weeks ago a trio of Lady Bruins had success at the nationwide level with their club team. Marissa Demuth, Rya Christianson and Emry Brown finished second at a tournament in Florida with their club team out of Tulsa.

Blain says even making a team like that is an accomplishment.

Brown committed to play her college volleyball with the Kansas City Roos a week ago.

More on that commitment and BHS volleyball over the next several days.
