Big 12 Media Days Here

Big 12 Media Days are here, as fans of teams in the conference will get their first official look at their teams about a month before practices begin.

At Oklahoma State, the Cowboys both enter with high expectations and are also flying a bit under the radar.

The Pokes are picked third in the preseason Big 12 poll, behind K-State and Utah. However, an old and experienced group will lead the way, with six Cowboys named to the All Big 12 Preseason team, which is the most in the conference.

OK-State returns 20 of its 22 starters off a team that made the Big 12 championship game last year.

A lot of that experience will be in Las Vegas to talk to the media on Tuesday. Colin Oliver and Kendall Daniels on defense are both all-conference returning linebackers and safeties. Meanwhile quarterback Alan Bowman is in his second year with the Cowboys but his seventh as a college QB.

Last year’s nation’s leading rusher in Ollie Gordon will still be at the event on Tuesday despite his arrest a week ago.

Mike Gundy will take the podium at 3:00 Tuesday afternoon.
