Braves Baseball Drops Pool Play Finale

The Bartlesville Braves dropped their final pool play game of the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Braves fell to Branson, 12-5.
 
Bartlesville struck for the first run of the game in the top of the first inning, thanks to this double from Luke Massey.
 
Things got out of hand in the bottom of the first inning. The Braves walked seven batters in the frame. Branson recorded three hits in the inning and struck for eight runs to lead, 8-1.
 
The Braves were not done offensively, they cut the deficit to five in the top of the fourth. They executed a double steal with Zane Boswell to add another run.
 
Bartlesville got down eight in the fifth inning before striking for two more runs on a groundout from Jackson Fox and a single from Ty Howard.
 
The Braves finish pool play at 1-2 and will play Branson again in a consolation game at 10 a.m.
