Bruin Football Wins 3 7-on-7 Matchups

If you missed it over the weekend, it was an encouraging Friday for Bartlesville High football in the Bixby 7-on-7 Tournament.

The Bruins won three games in their pool before falling to Sapulpa in the matchup round.

In total BHS beat Deer Creek, Norman North and Sand Springs. The Bruins fell to Bixby and Broken Arrow in a close one, then lost to Sapulpa in in the pool showdown.

As mentioned last week, Bartlesville head coach Matt Hennesy said he was not concerned with the Bruin’s win and loss record, but with the effort and culture. Early returns were good from Bixby in those categories, as well.

Bartlesville returns to Summer Pride workouts this week.
