Bruin Softball Begins on Tuesday
Bartlesville softball begins its season on Tuesday in the Oklahoma City metro.
This is the first of a busy week away from home for the Bruins. Bartlesville opens the season at Deer Creek in a District game this evening. BHS will go to Choctaw then a tournament in Norman later this week, as well.
Bartlesville returns all but a handful of players from a team that finished just beneath .500 last year, then surged to the state tournament in slow pitch in the spring.
Head coach Kyle Minton talks about his team’s first week of travel.
It is a 6:30 first pitch in Edmond against the Antlers.
Other high school softball games across the area on Tuesday:
Dewey begins its season at home against Inola. Caney Valley hosts Oklahoma Union. Copan goes to Shilder. And Barnsdall will host Pawhuska.
