Caney Valley and Barnsdall renews rivalry

A rivalry is renewed on Friday night when Caney Valley hosts Barnsdall. Both teams are hoping to start the season with big wins as, Caney Valley hopes to end a seven game losing skid in the series. Trojans Head Coach Stephen Mitchell says that it's great to have the rivalry game back but knows playing in front of the home crowd is a big advantage.

Game time is slated for 7 p.m between the Trojans and Panthers in Ramona on Friday.
