Castillo Talks Workouts at K-State
Last week, KWON chatted with former Bartlesville Bruin basketball standout David Castillo.
Castillo will be a freshman at K-State this upcoming college basketball season. He held a free basketball camp in Bartlesville last week.
Castillo already went through summer workouts in Manhattan. It was his first taste of college ball and first on the court action with teammates and head coach Jerome Tang.
Castillo describes what the summer workouts were like.
Tang and K-State were able to beat out Oklahoma State and Wildcat foe KU head coach Bill Self for Castillo’s services.
Castillo gives his impression of the K-State coaching staff after the summer portion of work.
According to 247sports.com, Castillo is one of Kansas State’s top 5 high school basketball recruits of all time.
Actual practices restart in October.
